Trent Walford- Managing Partner
Born in Newmarket, Canada and grew up in Mississauga, Canada. He began ice skating from a very early age and dreamt of playing professional hockey. The opportunity came up when he received a scholarship to Lake Superior State University in Michigan. He played professional hockey for three years upon graduation. Trent began his career at International Creative Management and eventually founded his own management firm 33 Entertainment – which later became the inspiration for 33Group in Las Vegas.
Steve Kennedy- Managing Partner
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts Steve received his finance degree from College of Massachusetts. Steve worked as a mutual fund accountant for one year and then took off to Vegas. Steve started his nightlife career at the famous House of Blues in Las Vegas. Many took notice of his natural ability to take a venue to the next level, including nightlife giant The Light Group. After 3 and a half years in management for some of the Light Group venues, Steve took on operations and VIP hosting for both Pure Management & Tao Group. Steven Kennedy has held a revolutionary role in the Las Vegas nightlife industry. As the brainchild behind many of the ways Vegas nightlife operates, Steve’s natural knack for knowing what a guest wants and needs are a proven necessity to Thirty Three Group’s ventures.
Brian Golbourne – Operations
Born and raised in central New Jersey where he received his bachelors degree in pre-law at Ramapo College of New Jersey. In 2005, he moved to Las Vegas and fell into a job at Primm Valley Resorts as the guest services manager. From there, he discovered his love for hospitality and was quickly promoted to Hotel Manager, overseeing three properties and several departments. In 2008, Palms Place Hotel & Spa opened and Brian was offered a position on their opening management team. After opening Palms Place, he met Trent Walford and Steve Kennedy, where he joined their team in 2010 to apply his knowledge of the hospitality industry to their company.
Andrew Hoey – Promotions Manager
Born and raised in Grand Junction, CO Andrew developed his management skills while helping his dad run and operate a family owned construction company. While helping run the family business Andrew attended Mesa State College where he obtained a Bachelors in Business Marketing & Associates in Sports Management. After school Andrew moved to Las Vegas to explore the promotions and special event industry.
Mallory Watterson – Reservations Specialist
Mallory was born and raised in Bishop, California; a small rural community on the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains. In 2006, Mallory moved to Las Vegas and began her career in the hospitality industry with Marriott International. Restless to find her niche, she moved to Minnesota and dabbled in the cosmetology industry, then to South Lake Tahoe, California, where she worked at a small lakeside resort while studying criminal justice. But the lure of Vegas was strong and she returned in the summer of 2011 looking to take her hospitality skills to the next level. She found that opportunity here at 33Group where she currently is responsible for all reservations and has been a tremendous asset to the team thus far.
